Which FPSI Tests Should My Agency Use?

Listed below are the current entry-level firefighter testing products FSI offers for recruitment purposes. This document is intended to assist you with identifying the most appropriate tests to use based upon the knowledges, skills, abilities, and personal characteristics (KSAPCs) you are most interested in measuring, as well as the minimum qualifications of your candidates.

Structured Interview Package (SIP)	Oral communication, interpersonal skills, and decision-making skills
Test Preparation Manual (TPM) Test	Ability to read, retain, recall, and comprehend written material
Work Styles Inventory (WSI)	Teamwork, thoroughness, attention to detail, commitment and devotion, following order or instructions, EMS duties, performing station duties with others or independently, and overall job performance
